The Director of DavyMarkham Limited, recognise and accept their responsibilities to provide safe
working conditions, both in-house and on customers’ sites, and to ensure, so far as is reasonably
practicable, the health, safety and welfare at work of all employees, visitors, sub-contractors and the
general public.
The Directors and Senior Managers will ensure that the company complies with all relevant legislation,
Directives and appropriate Codes of Practice. In order to achieve this they will appoint sufficiently
competent staff to achieve and maintain safe working conditions and they will also provide all
necessary relevant training.
Each employee is personally responsible for ensuring that his/her actions at work do not harm
himself/herself or others, for observing all safety precautions and for using the appropriate protective
equipment.
All employees are encouraged to take an active interest in matters affecting Health, Safety and
Welfare and are requested to co-operate in the implementation of this policy and to assist in the
elimination of hazards and the prevention of accidents.
The Managing Director is responsible for Health and Safety, with the Manufacturing Director being
delegated to be responsible and accountable for Health and Safety within the company and on site.
