Forerunner company, Markham, have a well-established track record in design, manufacture and installation of hydro-power and water control equipment.

Our expertise and capability to manufacture hydropower equipment for Boving & Co., (now GE Energy) began in 1928.

The close relationship developed between the two companies has led to participation in the supply of over 290 water turbines, as well as associated equipment such as gates and valves of various types. The types of turbine built have included Francis, Kaplan, Pelton, Francis min-turbines, propeller and bulb types, and pump storage turbines.

Turbine equipment has been supplied with a total generating capacity of over 12000MW and successfully installed and operated in over 130 major projects throughout the world.

Keystone overseas projects include Porabka-Zar (Poland), Villarino, Velle, Castrello, Freira (all Spain), Owen Falls (Uganda), Murray River (Australia), Kariba Dam (Zambia), El Chocon (Argentina), Banderita (Brazil) amongst many others.
