New Sales Appointment To Build DavyMarkham's Global Business
Sheffield engineering design and manufacturing concern, DavyMarkham has appointed a new Sales Manager to develop business opportunities for its world-class services, in traditional and emerging industry sectors around the globe. Paul Kincell has an extensive engineering and manufacturing background within a range of market-leading organisations, including a spell in the Sheffield forgings industry and an initial grounding in the mining equipment sector, both of which link with DavyMarkham's own manufacturing heritage. Through his volunteer work with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and Young Enterprise organisation, Paul is actively involved in developing the region's managers of tomorrow, as well as advancing his own professional skills and qualifications, so is sure to become a valuable member of the Prince of Wales Road team.

"DavyMarkham's manufacturing reputation and the combined engineering experience of its workforce are phenomenal,' he says. "I shall look forward to capitalising upon those credentials by building sales in its traditional heavy industry markets, like mining, metals, energy and general engineering, and exploring fresh avenues for our unique capabilities. We are not simply 'metal bashers', we offer tremendous added-value through our design engineering skills and outstanding production resources, so are well equipped to compete effectively in domestic and overseas markets.'
Paul Kincell (48) holds an MBA from Hull, a Diploma in Management Studies from Doncaster Business School and is undergoing the attainment of Chartered Management status. He has an impressive track record of success in the manufacturing and retail sectors, including engineering, automotive, textiles, furniture, building products and aerospace, helping to improve sales and profitability through strong account management and new business acquisition. He also has considerable experience of project and change management, as well as new product and service introductions.
Paul is currently Vice President of the Doncaster & Barnsley board of the CMI, the country's pre-eminent professional body for management, helping to increase membership to over 800 and building ties with such local institutions as the Doncaster Business School, where he was formerly a student. For 15 years, he has also been involved with the UK's leading business education charity, Young Enterprise, acting as a judge and mentor on secondary school projects and recently gaining the organisation's highest volunteer award, the Gold Medal.

Born and bred in Doncaster, where he attended Don Valley High School, he still lives there with his wife and teenage son. He is a keen supporter of Doncaster Rovers and amongst his other interests are travel, the theatre and keeping fit.
