Communications Policy
  • We believe that high quality, consistent and regular two way communications are vital to the progression of the business and to ensure that information is efficiently disseminated to all parties.

  • We operate an open information policy within the business where every employee has reasonable access to all information with the exception of personnel or commercially sensitive data.

  • Abstracts of the annual business plan are presented to the workforce and displayed on the company’s notice boards.

  • Monthly performance against Key Performance Indicators are signed by the Chairman of the JSSC and the MD

  • Health and Safety statistics are displayed on the company notice boards

  • Quality performance and trends are displayed on the company notice boards.

  • Key formal internal communications comprise of:-

    • Daily tool box meetings held with all shop floor employees where there is an opportunity to exchange information

    • Monthly Meetings with Employee Representatives and the Works Director to discuss local employee issues

    • Monthly meetings with Employee Representatives and the Chairman together with the MD

    • Quarterly Team Briefings

    • Daily Management Meetings and Meetings of the Directors

    • Monthly Board Meetings

    • Continuous improvement team meetings

    • Contract review meetings
