DavyMarkham’s affirmed and prestigious reputation within the Tunnel Boring Industry dates back to our successful design and provision of the Channel Tunnel Boring Machines. The two 8.3m diameter machines were produced through working in consortium with The Robbins Company, Ohio, USA.
Following on from this landmark project our most recent activities worldwide have benefited from our expert skills and we have manufactured key quality tunnel boring machine (TBM) components including:
	10m diameter cutterhead for a double shield TBM produced by The Robbins Company for use in the Nagarjunasagar Reserve, India 2009; Components for the Jinping Hydro Power Project, China 2009. Cutterhead components for the Niagra Falls Hydro Power project.
