DavyMarkham can offer a dedicated service in the inspection and repair of mechanical equipment, returning it to service in 'as new' condition.

This service is based on the expertise in the manufacture of Rolling Mill, Capital Plant, Mining and Tunnelling Equipment gained over the 170 years and encompasses the comprehensive engineering knowledge, technical and manufacturing capabilities of the Sheffield facility.

The flexibility and diversity of our facilities means that total repair on small, medium and large components can be undertaken – from 1 to 350 tonnes.

Our metallurgists and design team are able to advise upon the various improvements in material selection and design as well the latest metal replacement techniques.

These resources enable us to improve or optimise the in-service performance of the equipment undergoing refurbishment or reconditioning to ensure maximum utilisation by the customer – at significantly reduced costs compared to new.

Our applications' expertise in the field includes mills equipment, heavy presses, turbine and mining equipment, heavy gears and drives, quarrying, tunnel boring machines, and many other complex equipment types.
