DavyMarkham’s expertise and capability to manufacture rolling mill and other products for the metals industries results from over 170 years as part of the Davy Engineering Group, and is now employed to meet the exacting needs of all of the world’s leading mill builders.

From the earliest days of steel making to the advanced mills of today, Davy is a name known throughout the world with hot and cold rolling mills, steckel and sendzimir, presses and forge projects supplied to customers including Dugapur, Smederevo, Rautaurruki Oy, Erdemir, British Aluminium, Bethlehem Steel, CST, Columbus, Tippins Orgeon Steel, and many others and of course, British Steel and Corus and their forerunners.

Recent DavyMarkham projects include Angang and Shagang in China, Posco (Korea) and currently contracts are being undertaken for Asia Aluminium (China), ESSAR and JSPL in India.

Typical products manufactured are rolling mill housings and furniture, gearboxes and drive shafts, chocks, and other critical items. Press components are made to 350 tonnes.
